Dodge County Public Health and the Dodge County Library System launch Libraries with Heart, a community-focused initiative that brings health resources into local libraries. This partnership makes it simple and convenient for residents to check their blood pressure and get access to resources that help them make informed decisions about their health.
Dodge County residents can now check out blood pressure monitor kits from participating libraries, just as they would a book. Each blood pressure monitor kit includes an easy-to-use electronic blood pressure monitor and simple, clear health information to help users understand and track their readings.
This free service is now available at Beaver Dam Community Library, Brownsville Public Library, Fox Lake Public Library, Horicon Public Library, Iron Ridge Public Library, Juneau Public Library, Lomira Public Library, Mayville Public Library, Randolph Hutchinson Memorial Library, Reeseville Public Library, Theresa Public Library and Waupun Public Library.

“We are excited to make such a critical resource accessible to everyone in the community,” said Roman Mullen, Dodge County Public Health officer. “This initiative gives people the tools they need to take charge of their health at the heart of their own communities. Libraries are trusted gathering spaces that provide a wealth of knowledge, and this partnership underscores their role in supporting overall individual well-being.”
