Devil's Lake State Park reopens Friday
A visitor canoes Friday morning at Devil's Lake State Park. It's the first day the park has been reopened since it was closed April 10 in response to the coronavirus pandemic and crowding. Devil's Lake, south of Baraboo, will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and closed on Wednesdays for maintenance. Buildings, including shelters and restrooms, will remain closed.
Devil's Lake State Park reopens Friday
Devil's Lake State Park reopened Friday after being closed since April 10 in response to the coronavirus pandemic and crowding. The park, located south of Baraboo, will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and closed on Wednesdays for maintenance. Buildings, including shelters and restrooms, will remain closed.

COVID-19 Tourism
The shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic is being felt across the economic spectrum, including downtown Wisconsin Dells, which is virtually void of tourists.

Wisconsin Dells Parkway in Wisconsin Dells is normally bustling with spring break traffic this time of year, but last week was largely void of vehicles. Most of the businesses in Wisconsin Dells, where tourism is a more than $1 billion industry, are closed.
