More than $12,000 was raised for nursing student scholarships at Madison College Reedsburg’s Celebrate a Nurse 5K on May 1, helping reduce financial barriers for students entering a high-demand health care field.
The event drew 215 runners and walkers to a scenic course around the Reedsburg campus, with mascot Wolfie greeting participants at the finish line. Students, alumni and health care partners gathered afterward for awards and post-race festivities.
