Dodge County certifies 2026 spring election results

JUNEAU, Wis. – Dodge County officials have certified the results of the 2026 Spring Election, with a total of 22,415 ballots cast across the county.

Several Dodge County Board seats were contested in this election cycle, with the following results:

• District 10: Incumbent Daniel L. Siegmann was re-elected, receiving 545 votes (58.86%), defeating Jeffrey M. Neu, who received 380 votes (41.04%).
• District 11: Challenger Nick Christian secured the seat with 468 votes (55.85%), unseating incumbent David Guckenberger, who received 366 votes (43.68%).
• District 14: Christine A. Churchill was elected with 253 votes (51.53%), narrowly defeating Stephanie Justmann, who received 236 votes (48.07%). Churchill will fill the seat vacated by Mayville Mayor Rob Boelk, who did not seek re-election.
• District 31: Incumbent Kevin Burnett retained his seat with 283 votes (51.18%), defeating Steve Rydzewski, who received 265 votes (47.92%).

In addition, Districts 16, 32, and 33 had no listed candidates on the ballot. These races were decided by write-in votes, which were tabulated and certified following the close of polls by the Dodge County Clerk’s Office.

Robert Ballweg won the seat for District 32. A total of 128 people voted write-in for this open seat. Jeff Bierman won the seat for District 33. A total of 54 people voted write-in for this open seat. The winner of District 16 is still pending.

“This election is a reminder that every vote matters, regardless of the time of year,” said Dodge County Clerk Danielle Van Egtern. “Spring elections often see lower turnout, but they include important local decisions that directly impact our communities. We encourage all eligible voters to stay engaged and make their voices heard in every election.”

In addition to county board races, voters weighed in on a number of local municipal contests, school board races, and referendum questions across Dodge County.
