JUNEAU, Wis. — Dodge County is proud to announce the promotion of Nicole Hoeppner to land information manager, recognizing her years of service and leadership within the organization, following the retirement of Dave Addison, who concluded a 32-year career with the county in January.
Hoeppner brings more than a decade of experience with Dodge County to her new role. She began her career in 2014 with Dodge County as a property listing specialist after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in geoscience with a geographic information systems (GIS) emphasis.
“Nicole’s knowledge, dedication and ability to communicate and work well with others was recognized early in her career,” said Bill Ehlenbeck, Dodge County Land Resources and Parks Director, who oversees the Land Information Division. “She trained under Dave’s vast knowledge and experience and is now ready to lead the County’s Land Information Division into the next chapter, which we envision as having a greater emphasis on GIS technology use across the county, not just within the Land Resources & Parks Department.”
Hoeppner was promoted to land information systems specialist in 2016, supporting the implementation of new technology for property descriptions and assessments. In 2020, she advanced to GIS property analyst lead, where she helped guide the continued integration of property records and mapping systems.
She has also been active at the state level in land information and property listing organizations. She received the Emerging Leader Award from the Wisconsin Land Information Association in 2021 for exemplary technical achievement and leadership.
In 2024, Hoeppner served as president of the Wisconsin Real Property Listers Association and currently serves as co-chair of its State and Local Finance Committee in coordination with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. She is also active with the Wisconsin Land Information Association and has been nominated to serve on its board of directors.
The Dodge County Land Information Division oversees nearly 50,000 real estate parcels and maintains several of the county’s most widely used data systems, including the Land Information Search Tool (LIST) and the Web Map Tool. These resources support property assessment, planning, and public access to land records across departments and for residents throughout the county.
