The Golden Beavers face a stiff nonconference test as they welcome the reigning WIAA Division 2 state runner-up Eagles. Following a three-game losing skid, Beaver Dam (7-5) heads into the week off a sweep over Badger East foe Waunakee, grinding out 1-0 and 5-3 wins over the Warriors. Jefferson (10-3) meanwhile dropped a pair of nonconference games over the weekend against Division 1 foes Kimberly and Burlington.

Watertown at Beaver Dam softball, 5 p.m., Friday
The top three teams in the Badger East Conference are undefeated in league play with two of them meeting in this bitter rivalry clash. The Golden Beavers (10-3, 9-0 Badger East) have been red hot since dropping a nonconference doubleheader to Oshkosh West on April 8, winning eight of their last nine entering the week, including a league sweep over Waunakee last week. The Goslings meanwhile are equally incendiary entering on a seven-game winning streak. Watertown (11-1, 6-0) is ranked seventh in the Division 1 WFSCA rankings.
