    LAKE MILLS – Lake Mills was able to shut down visiting Hustisford Thursday night.

    The host L-Cats got a goal and an assist from Dani Moldenhauer for a 2-0 Division 3 sectional semifinal girls soccer win.

    Lake Mills (12-5-1) battles the Lake Country Lutheran co-op Saturday afternoon at Kettle Moraine for a trip to state. The Falcons were eliminated at 14-5.

      Madison Edgewood got a goal and two assistst from senior Jessie O’Brien and a seven-save shutout from senior goalkeeper Alyssa Schweiger in a 3-0 victory over host and top-seeded Lodi in a Division 2 sectional semifinal on Thursday night.

        HUSTISFORD – Hustisford goalkeeper Alisha Seifert’s save on the final kick of a penalty shootout gave the Falcons a 2-1 victory over Luther Prep in Saturday night’s Division 3 girls soccer regional final.

        “This was a very intense game that played with a lot of emotion by both teams,” Falcons coach Otto Hopfinger said. “I can’t say enough about how our team just never quits and I couldn’t be prouder of the effort and determination shown by my team again.”

        Waunakee’s Hannah Lohmeier, Emily Mouille and Samantha Kliminski each scored twice while Samantha Murray added a goal and two assists for the host and top-seeded Warriors in a 11-0 victory over Poynette/Portage in a Division 1 regional semifinal game in Waunakee on Thursday night.

        Lodi junior midfielder Gretchen Schutz scored four goals, sophomore Taylor Baker added a goal and three assists, while Camryn Kellogg added a goal and an assist to lead Lodi to a 7-0 victory over Jefferson in a Division 2 regional semifinal game in Lodi on Thursday.
