Vicki L. Nauman, 49 of Wisconsin Dells, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at her home. She was born on Jan, 15, 1959, in Racine, the daughter of Royce F. and Diane R. (Tesser) Nauman. Vicki was a graduate of Jordan High School in Long Beach, CA. She was a bus driver for handicapped children (Head Start) in Long Beach. In 1978 she moved back to Wisconsin. For the past three years she was a lieutenant for the Wisconsin Protection Agency. She was an avid fisherwoman and enjoyed bowling and softball. She loved to watch the Brewers on TV and listened to them on the radio whenever possible. Vicki was a Packers fan and enjoyed NASCAR racing. She was a past president of the Wisconsin Dells Lioness and a bingo ambassador at the Ho-Chunk Casino.
Vicki was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents. She is survived by: daughter, Brandi Nauman (Jessica Thomas) of Wisconsin Dells; mother, Diane Kasprzak of Wisconsin Dells; fiancé, Tom Carney of Wisconsin Dells; grandson, Christian Avory Lee; adoptive grandchildren, Breydan Walter and Dillon Anthony; brothers, Lawrence C. (Karen) Nauman of Knoxville, TN, Guy (Debbie) Nauman of Waukesha; aunt and uncle, Carolyn and Roy Madsen of Racine; nieces and nephews, Anna (Dennis) Adams of Knoxville, TN, Sam and Ben Nauman of Waukesha; great niece, Merredith N. Adams of Knoxville, TN; many cousins, along with many friends.
Funeral services for Vicki Nauman were conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Michael Amberg officiating. Friends called on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
