Betty Athey

LAKE DELTON — Betty Athey, 81, of Lake Delton died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at her residence.

Memorial funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Bible Baptist Church in Reedsburg, with Pastor Earon Fowler officiating. Visitation will be held at Bible Baptist Church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Betty was born Dec. 17, 1926, in Merrimac, the daughter of Roy and Sherley (Dennis) Mueller. She was a dedicated member of the Keystone Baptist Church. Among Betty's hobbies were bowling, crocheting, golfing, puzzles and she loved cooking.

Betty is survived by her son, Richard Ness of Joplin, Mo.; daughters, Pam Marie Ness of Brookfield and Corinne Marie (Jay) Olsen of Lake Delton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Gordon Ness and Harold Athey; and her brothers, Robert and Del.
